Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong scored his first Serie A goal in Salernitana 3-2 win over Udinese on Saturday at the Stadio Arechi.
The 29-year-old Nigerian defender scored in the 96th minute to hand Granata the vital win after eight appearances.
The Nigerian international defender made the switch to Italy from English Championship club, Watford in January.
Troost-Ekong joined on an initial loan deal for the remainder of the 2022/23 season but Salernitana have the option to make the deal permanent.
The Super Eagles vice-captain suffered a knee injury where he missed four matches and has managed to make eight appearances.
Salernitana will play their final match of the 2022/2023 season in an away fixture against relegated Cremonese
