Fresh from the academy, Remo Stars midfielder Seun Odunsi is one of the new kids on the block in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
He joined Remo Stars’ youth side, Beyond Limits Football Academy, and featured prominently for them in the Nigeria National League One and also won The Creative Championship League with the side.
Given his talent and exposure, Remo Stars announced his promotion to the senior team in September 2022, and his first professional contract followed just before the start of the 2022/23 NPFL season.
Odunsi’s first team debut was on match-day one of the season against El-Kanemi Warriors, when he came on as an 80th minute substitute.
Within 10 minutes, he made his mark with a sumptuous assist to set up Edidiong Ezekiel for Remo’s second goal of the game, which ended 2-0.
