Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes once again makes contact with Chelsea over the possibility of a deal for his client.
Despite starting the season with Manchester United, the Portugal international is believed to be still looking for a new club in a bid to play Champions League football this term.
Chelsea are one of a number of Europe’s biggest side have supposedly turned down the opportunity to sign Ronaldo in the current transfer window.
However, according to the Daily Express, Mendes has returned to enquire with the Blues whether a transfer is possible for the Man United forward.
With Thomas Tuchel reluctant to sign the 37-year-old, Chelsea’s stance appears to remain unchanged as they continue to look for additions in the final third, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Anthony Gordon and Wilfried Zaha all linked with the club.
Mendes is still working to find Ronaldo a move before the transfer window closes, with the player’s agent recently approaching Napoli about a potential transfer.
