According to Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, fast-rising KAA Gent and Nigerian striker Gift Orban could make a big move away from the Belgian Jupiler league in the summer transfer window.

The youngster had been making headlines in the Belgian topflight league following his impressive performances since his €3m arrival from Norwegian club Stabaek in the January transfer window.

Several clubs in Europe are reportedly interested in signing a Nigerian sensational striker.

The Nigerian star is presently valued at €20m and Gent could be tempted to sell their January arrival.

Orban continued his goalscoring form as he bagged a brace in Gent’s 5-0 win over RFC Seraing on Saturday to take his tally to 14 goals (nine in seven league games) in 11 games across all competition

The 20-year-old also scored the fastest hattrick in Gent’s 4-1 away win against Turkish Süper Lig Istanbul Basaksehir in the Europa Conference League Round of 16 matches.

No player in the history of UEFA competition had ever scored a hat-trick within 180 seconds and his pleasant display has attracted interest from Italy.

“Gift Orban expected to be on the move this summer. The Nigerian striker has 14 goals and 2 assists for Gent.” Romano wrote on his official Twitter handle.

“Understand 2002-born striker price tag could be more than €20m this summer with clubs already monitoring him.”

Italian media Calciomercato recently reported that two Seria clubs AC Milan and table toppers Napoli are reportedly interested in signing the prolific striker in the summer.

The Nigerian starlet recently hinted that his dream is to play in the Premier League.

Orban goals have powered the Belgian outfit to fourth place in the Belgian Jupiler league table.
