Following his remarkable performances this season, French Ligue 1 champions, Paris Saint-Germain, are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace winger of Nigerian descent Michael Olise in the summer, according to a report on Spanish website, Fichajes.
The Parisiens are looking to strengthen their squad for next season and have beamed their searchlight on the young winger.
The 21-year-old has been an inspiration for Palace this season with his incredible form and contributed to 11 goals( two goals, nine assists) in 37 games in all competitions to shoot the Eagles to 12th on the Premier League table.
Olise’s fine form has aroused the interest of the Parisiens after a very outstanding season in the Premier League, where he has shown his quality and potential.
The winger still has three years left on his contract with Palace and the French champions are looking at handing him a long-term contract in a bid to reinforce the squad with young talents.
“PSG, in its quest to renew the squad and return to being a feared team in Europe, has adopted a new strategy in the transfer market. Instead of making large investments in established players, the team led by Luis Campos and the company intend to sign young talents and add more French footballers to the project.
“Michael Olise fits perfectly into this new strategy, as his youth, quality and potential make him a very attractive player for PSG.”
According to transfermarkt.com, Olise market value rose to €27m, the highest valuation in March 2023, from €22m in November 2022 due to his great season with the Eagles and the Parisiens are financially buoyant to pay for his services.
