French Ligue 1 side Monaco are not ready to give up on their pursuit of Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo, after they had two initial bids for the Manchester City Academy product rejected.
The centre-back has also been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, with Frank Trimboli, the agent in charge of negotiating his exit from Craven Cottage, doing everything possible to make him move to Spurs.
However, Adarabioyo has insisted that he doesn’t want to move to Spurs as he would prefer a transfer to Monaco.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the French Ligue 1 outfit are ready to submit a new bid for the Fulham defender.
Romano reported Monaco consider the 27-year-old a priority target for their centre-back position and are determined to get him on their books before the end of the transfer window.
“AS Monaco are preparing a new formal bid for Tosin Adarabioyo, now approaching Fulham with serious intent. AS Monaco consider Tosin as a priority CB target and negotiations continue,” Romano tweeted on Monday.
Meanwhile, Adarabioyo seems to have fallen out with the Cottagers’ hierarchy after he refused to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
He has been omitted by Marco Silva in the club’s first two games of the new Premier League season.
