Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi, will be hoping to fire his team up as Marseille host Lorient at the Stade Velodrome in Ligue 1 cracker on Saturday (today), January 14.
The Nigeria international has been in fine form for Les Merlus this season and scored his 11th goal of the season in Lorient’s 2-2 draw at home against AS Monaco to go level with Brazilian and PSG star Neymar who has 11 goals to his name.
The 23-year-old Nigeria striker is just two goals behind French and PSG striker Mbappe who tops the Lique 1 goals chart with 13.
Moffi, who has impressed in the French top flight this season hopes to continue with his exploits away against Marseille on Saturday.
Lorient are seven points behind third-place Marseille in sixth place with 32 points from 18 matches and will be pushing for a spot in Europe next season.
Lorient have tumbled down the league table in the past five games, and they also dropped points in the final seconds against Monaco, two points behind Monaco and one point above Lille.
Le Bris’s hopes of capping an excellent season so far by winning the club’s second-ever French Cup remain firmly intact after beating La Chataigneraie 6-0 last weekend, too, but he will be acutely aware of the challenge lying in wait for his side in Marseille on Saturday.
