Lorient manager Regis Le Bris has hailed striker Terem Moffi following his blistering form since the start of the 2022/23 season.
Le Bris, who worked as an assistant coach for the club last season, is delighted that Moffi has put behind him the difficult times and is back to his best form.
“He’s a player who can play in the biggest leagues.
“He still has quite a few things he needs to work on, but just like any young player, he has lots of potential,” Le Bris told Ligue 1 website.
Lorient’s fine run can be attributed to Moffi’s form in front of goal, scoring six goals in eight matches, with only Neymar and Kylian Mbappé have netted more goals.
The Nigerian was recently named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Month for September.
