Nigerian striker, Terem Moffi, has been included in the French Ligue 1 Team-of-The-Week by French sports newspaper L’Equipe on the back of his outstanding display in the last round of matches in the division.

In what was his fourth appearance for OGC Nice after his transfer from Lorient on deadline day last month, the Nigeria international ended his mini-goal drought in style by bagging a brace and providing an assist as they hammered Monaco 3-0 at the Stade Louis-II Stadium.

Moffi slotted into the bottom corner to open the scoring in the eighth minute after a ball over the top from Dante and doubled the advantage at minute 26 after a lovely through ball from Khéphren Thuram.

In a 4-4-2 formation, Moffi was partnered in attack by Argentina captain Lionel Messi, who was also directly involved in three goals as PSG thrashed Marseille 3-0 at the Orange Vélodrome.

With a rating of nine, Moffi was the joint best rated player in the Team-of-The-Week, alongside two-goal hero for PSG in their win versus Marseille, Kylian Mbappe.

The Super Eagles forward joined Nice on a loan deal until the end of the 2022/23 season with an obligation to buy him from Lorient.

Moffi has made 91 appearances in the French topflight, scoring 36 goals, including 14 this season.
