Bankole Olowookere, Flamingos’ head coach, has assured that his side will not underrate Liberia ahead of their final round of the African qualification series for this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Nigeria reached the final round of the World Cup qualifiers with a 6-0 defeat of Burkina Faso at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday and are now set to face Liberia who stunned Senegal to set up a date with the Flamingos.
The Young Maidens of Teranga were the favourites between the two sides having claimed a 3-1 win in the first leg but they were shocked on Sunday as they suffered a 2-0 defeat in Liberia.
Reacting to the final fixture, Olowookere said his side would not take anything for granted against the minnows.

Liberia will host Nigeria in the first leg on Saturday, June 8 with the return leg coming up a week later at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
