Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has returned to training with his Turkish Super Lig club Sivasspor, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The former Leicester City winger has been out of action for weeks after he fractured his arm and needed surgery.

Musa trained separately on Friday under the watchful eyes of the club’s physiotherapist Faith Aydin.

“Getting back bit by bit, Thank you very much for this,” Musa replied PUNCH Sports Extra when asked how he is recuperating.

The injury cost the forward chance to play for the Eagles against Algeria earlier this month.

However, he could be available for the next round of friendlies against Costa Rica and Portugal next month.

The 29-year-old, who is his country’s most-capped international, has his sights set on an Africa Cup of Nations finale next year.
