Tai Sodje made history with Manchester City as the Club claimed the Premier League 2 champions for the third time in their history, PUNCH Extra reports.
Manchester City U-21s won the Division 1 title after their nearest challengers, Chelsea U-21s, finished the season with 43 points, 13 points less than the Manchester side.
It means with one match remaining Man City are 13 points clear and cannot be caught by the London boys.
Manchester City have scored a remarkable 77 goals in their 25 matches to date, 21 more than Brighton & Hove Albion U-21s, who are the second-highest scoring side in the league.
They also boast the second-best defensive record, having conceded only 31 times ahead of their next match, against Arsenal U-21 on Saturday.
Winning the 2022/23 Premier League Division 2 title means Manchester City have the title three times in a row having won it n 2021 and 2022.
Sodje has also won the title twice as he was part of the team that beat West Ham United U-23s to the title last year, scoring three goals from his six appearances.
The 19-year-old was reduced to just three appearances this season and he goal on the score sheet once.
